This Newly Signed Contract Extension by Seadrill Includes Higher Daily Rates for Offshore Activities in the Gulf of Mexico, There Is Still Registration Open for Those Who Wish to Work in the Region or in Rio de Janeiro
The U.S. oil company LLOG has decided to extend the contract for Seadrill’s West Neptune drilling vessel for another year. The drillship is operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
Seadrill said the contract value is expected to be approximately US$ 74 million, starting in December 2019, directly following the existing contract with LLOG.
This means the daily rate for the rig will be higher – around US$ 202,000, compared to the current daily rate of US$ 155,000.
