Four of the world’s main AIs — ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Gemini, and Grok — reached the same conclusion when analyzing a scenario of World War III: only the United States would have real conditions to survive with geopolitical power.
The projection was published by El Cronista, based on data and geopolitical simulations for June 2025. The study considers military, economic, strategic, and technological factors.
Despite the consensus that there are no real “winners” in a war of this magnitude, the AIs indicate that the U.S. would maintain its functional structure even after the conflict.

According to the AIs, the term “winner” does not mean military victory, but rather the ability to resist, rebuild, and maintain global influence after the war. Within this concept, the United States emerges as the only country capable of sustaining a central role in the post-war international scenario.
Several factors are cited as explanations:
- Comprehensive Military Power: The U.S. has dominance in conventional, nuclear, and cyber areas.
- Network of Allies: Strategic partnerships with NATO, Japan, South Korea, and Israel reinforce its position.
- Self-Sufficiency: The country has autonomy in energy, food, and technology.
- Location: It is bordered by two oceans, making direct attacks difficult.
- Strong Industry: It has the capacity to sustain a prolonged conflict.
And the Other Global Powers?
The analysis also evaluated countries like China, Russia, India, and European nations. China, even with industrial strength, would be surrounded by rivals.
Russia has nuclear weaponry but suffers from isolation and a weak economy. Meanwhile, Europe depends on the U.S. for military matters.
India and the Middle Eastern countries would have regional influence but would not be able to maintain global operations.
The report indicates that, even in the face of destruction, only the U.S. would maintain an active and functional state structure, being the only country with geopolitical power after a war of this magnitude.
