Data released by the National Traffic Department indicates that the platform has already surpassed 25.6 million registered users and records more than 1.39 million requests for licensing.
Meanwhile, the system has begun concentrating registrations for individuals interested in working as autonomous driving instructors.

According to Senatran, 85,918 candidates have already enrolled in the required course for this type of work, a mandatory step for those looking to enter the professional activity.
CNH do Brasil Concentrates Requests for Licensing and Professional Training
Adoption of the app has been used by the Ministry of Transport as an indicator of the reach of the new process.

According to the department, the proposal is to centralize both the steps related to the request for licensing and the qualification of professionals who wish to teach practical lessons as autonomous instructors in a digital environment.
The numbers of registered individuals in the training reflect the interest of people looking to work professionally in the new model linked to the licensing process.
After completing the course and passing the required stages, the candidate needs to apply for credentialing with the State Department of Transit in the state where they intend to operate, a necessary condition to engage in the activity legally.
Detran of Piauí Opens Credentialing for Autonomous Instructors
In Piauí, the State Department of Transit published a notice for the selection and credentialing of autonomous traffic instructors.
The document authorizes individuals to teach practical driving lessons to CNH candidates in the state, provided they meet the established technical and administrative requirements.
Commenting on the measure, the Director-General of Detran-PI, Luana Barradas, stated that the change expands the options available to candidates.
According to her, “now new drivers have another option to take practical lessons in our state, with the possibility of also choosing from accredited autonomous instructors.”
The notice explicitly states that the credentialing has an administrative nature, is temporary, and is not exclusive.
The text also emphasizes that authorization does not constitute a concession, permission, or any employment relationship between the instructor and Detran-PI.
Furthermore, the call does not have a competitive character, allowing participation from all interested parties who meet the established requirements.
Rules of Operation and Oversight for Credentialed Instructors

The document published by Detran-PI establishes a series of obligations for credentialed professionals.
Among them is the requirement to register practical lessons in the National Register of Qualified Drivers, with provisions for traceability mechanisms for the information entered into the system.
The notice also authorizes the agency to conduct oversight at any time.
This oversight may include presence in lessons, requests for reports, and audits related to the recorded workload.
According to the text, the credentialing is valid for 12 months, with the possibility of extension, provided the professional maintains the required qualifications and does not incur any irregularities.
On the financial aspect, the document stipulates that the instructor’s remuneration may occur through direct hiring by the candidate or through institutional programs from Detran itself.
For credentialing, the notice indicates the charging of a fee corresponding to 59 UFR-PI, according to the classification defined by the state agency.
Course in the App and Requirements to Act as an Autonomous Instructor
According to information released by the Ministry of Transport, the training for autonomous instructors is conducted through the CNH do Brasil app.
After approval in the course, the interested party must request credentialing from the Detran of their state to be able to work professionally.
Among the general requirements listed on institutional pages are a minimum age of 21 years, minimum time of licensing, completion of high school, and absence of certain traffic violations within periods defined by law.
The certificate of the specific course is also required for the credentialing application.
In the case of Piauí, the notice adds the need to present documents and certificates.
It is also required to obtain professional civil liability insurance, covering bodily, material, and moral damages arising from the exercise of the activity.

Realmente pode haver aumento de acidentes. Quando fiz os exames para obter a CNH não havia obrigatoriedade de aulas. Dirijo desde os 18 anos e nunca me envolvi em acidentes, hoje tenho 56.
Aprovo a mudança.
