The Vessel With Which Solstad Signed a Contract With Shell Brazil Is a PSV (Platform Supply Vessel), Built in 2013, and It Will Have a Duration of Two Years of Its Activities

The Norwegian company Solstad, which signed a contract with Shell Brazil, operates advanced vessels worldwide, usually under extreme weather conditions. They always focus on health, safety, the environment, and quality in all their operations. This Contract Adds to the Service Portfolio of Shell, which has been making significant achievements in Brazil in 2019.

They are flexible and reliable and care about their employees and the environment. The company is continuously developing to ensure a leading and competitive position in the markets they are represented. This is essential to maintain and strengthen their competitive position.

The vessel with which Solstad signed the contract is a PSV (Platform Supply Vessel), built in 2013, and it will have a duration of two years of its activities, with the start of operations scheduled for the second quarter of 2019.

In the last quarter of last year, Solstad closed a portfolio of contracts in Brazil, and this agreement with Enauta (formerly QGEP) is also included, for the charter of the support vessel Normand Pioneer CSV in the Atlanta field, in the Santos Basin.

Furthermore, as the company’s activities are also concentrated in Brazil, they have vessels providing services to other companies, such as Equinor and Petrobrás, for example.

Finally, in the past week, the company also announced that it signed contracts with a client whose name has not been disclosed, for the two PSV vessels that will start in the second quarter of this year and will have a duration of 185 days for each, with the possibility of extension.
