Shineray do Brasil launched an investment plan to expand the motorcycle sales market for consumers in classes A/B. The plan features a commercialization model focused on opening factories, which will be built in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Pernambuco, aiming to complement the dealership and resale network.

Shineray Invests BRL 1 Million in the Brazilian Motorcycle Market
The investment will be BRL 1 million just this year of 2021, focused on opening factories in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Pernambuco, where a pilot project was built on May 7. The store in Pernambuco is located at the Recife Outlet in Moreno, Metropolitan Region of Recife, situated on BR-232, which connects the store to over 115 municipalities in the state and other states like Alagoas and Paraíba.

Banco Santander Will Partner with Shineray Resellers
The new factories in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Minas Gerais are scheduled to open by the end of the second semester. Each of the factories will come from an investment of BRL 250,000 and will create around 10 direct jobs.
Shineray’s plans are to have factories spread across all states by 2026. It is worth noting that Banco Santander will be the partner of the new Shineray resellers, offering installment plans for electric motorcycles and low-displacement bikes with terms of up to five years and interest rates starting at 0.99% per month.
Special conditions will be offered for purchasing electric models and acquiring insurance through Santander Auto, where the amount can be included in the contract installments. Santander will also operate with the “Floor Plan” model of inventory financing aimed at dealers. The bank has such agreements with six other car and motorcycle manufacturers.
Shineray Guarantees Good Results in the Coming Years
The new Shineray factories in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Pernambuco reflect its guarantee of good results based on the growth of motorcycle deliveries and the search for motorcycles in major cities to create better traffic flow.
The company estimates a 30% increase in sales for the year 2021. The Brazilian Association of Motorcycle, Moped, Scooter, Bicycle, and Similar Manufacturers (Abraciclo) indicates that about 300,000 motorcycles were sold between January and April 2021, representing an increase of 9.1% compared to the same months last year.
