Many Jobs for Bahia! Siemens Signs Billion-Dollar Contract to Install 70 Turbines at the Santo Agostinho Wind Farm in RN, by French Engie
Good news for Bahia, Siemens Gamesa (SG) took advantage of the revival of the renewable market in Brazil and achieved its second major contract in the country in two months. The Siemens subsidiary will provide the French company Engie with 70 turbines of the 5.X model, which will be built at its factory in Camaçari – BA and may create many jobs in the region. SG’s first contract in Brazil was for the Tucano Wind Farm of 312 MW signed in April 2020.
“This agreement underscores how attractive the Siemens Gamesa 5.X platform is becoming globally, and we are pleased to continue developing a close partnership with Engie in Brazil. Moreover, the country is truly becoming a beacon for wind energy in Latin America,” said Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, CEO of Siemens Gamesa’s Onshore business.

Requirements: Students graduating in July 2022 and July 2023, with intermediate or higher English, can apply.
