Free selective process expands access to higher education in Acre with vacancies distributed across five campuses and exclusive use of Enem scores accumulated over 15 years, allowing admission without a new exam and with registrations made entirely online.
The Federal Institute of Acre offers 390 free vacancies in in-person undergraduate courses for admission in the second semester of 2026, expanding access to public higher education in different regions of the state.
Without its own exam, the selective process exclusively uses Enem scores obtained between 2010 and 2025, with registrations remaining open until 5 PM on May 29, 2026.
Distributed among five units, the opportunities include the Baixada do Sol, Cruzeiro do Sul, Rio Branco, Sena Madureira, and Tarauacá campuses, serving candidates who have already completed high school.

To participate, it is necessary to have taken at least one edition of the National High School Exam within the period stipulated in the public notice, regardless of the year chosen to compete.
Selection with Enem score
During registration, candidates must inform the score obtained in one of the Enem editions between 2010 and 2025, a stage that defines the entire classification in the selective process.
The final average considers the five areas evaluated in the exam, combining the scores from Languages, Mathematics, Human Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Essay into a single classification calculation.
Thus, as there is no exam applied by Ifac, the participant’s Enem history becomes the sole scoring criterion for admission to undergraduate courses.
Furthermore, the institution recommends attention to the public notice and the required documentation, as inconsistencies in filling out information can compromise both registration and the enrollment stage.
Distribution of vacancies by campus
In the capital, the Rio Branco campus concentrates 120 vacancies, organized between a Degree in Biological Sciences, Technology in Logistics, and Technology in School Processes, with a balanced offer among the courses.
Each of these programs offers 40 vacancies and takes place in the evening, an alternative designed for students who need to balance academic routines with professional activities.
In Cruzeiro do Sul, another 120 vacancies are allocated to degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, expanding teacher training in areas considered strategic for basic education.
In this case, each course also offers 40 opportunities with evening classes, maintaining the standard adopted in some units of the federal institute.
In the interior, the Tarauacá campus offers 80 vacancies, divided between a Degree in Biological Sciences and Technology in Agribusiness Management, reflecting the region’s educational and economic demands.
Meanwhile, at Baixada do Sol, 40 vacancies are available for Technology in Agribusiness Management, with classes in the afternoon, expanding the diversity of shifts offered.
In turn, Sena Madureira has 30 vacancies for the Technology in Public Management course, offered in the evening and aimed at qualification in administration and public services.
Free and in-person courses
All undergraduate programs offered through the selective process are free and conducted in-person, a characteristic that maintains the standard of federal education institutes in the country.
Among the options are degrees aimed at teacher training and higher technology courses directed at areas such as logistics, public management, agribusiness, and educational processes.
With units distributed in different locations, the offer seeks to reduce regional inequalities and facilitate access to public higher education for students outside major urban centers.
Even so, admission depends on strict compliance with the requirements set forth in the public notice, including the correct submission of information and the presentation of documents within the established deadlines.
How to register for the Ifac selective process
Without a fee, registration must be done exclusively through the online selection system of the Federal Institute of Acre, within the deadline defined in the official schedule.
Data submission can be made until 5 PM on May 29, 2026, the deadline established for participation in the selective process.
After this stage, the preliminary list of registered candidates is expected to be released on June 1st, with the possibility of appeals according to the rules of the public notice.
Subsequently, calls for enrollment and registration procedures will be published on the institution’s official channels, requiring constant monitoring by candidates.
For those who opt for reserved places, it is necessary to observe specific criteria for affirmative actions, which include income cut-off, school origin, and belonging to groups defined by law.
In cases of self-declaration for Black or Pardo candidates, there will be an in-person heteroidentification procedure, responsible for validating the information provided during registration.
