Super sub model combines speed, depth, and advanced control to transform deep-sea experiences
A new private submarine was recently unveiled and is already drawing attention for its performance and innovative proposal.
Developed by the Dutch company U-Boat Worx, the super sub model was designed to raise the standard of underwater exploration.
With a focus on speed, mobility, and expanded vision, the equipment emerges as a more dynamic alternative to traditional submersibles.
Furthermore, the proposal aims to cater to users interested in exclusive experiences in the marine environment.

Technical development and project proposal
The project was structured to offer greater freedom of movement during underwater navigation. Therefore, the model was designed to explore environments like shipwrecks with more precision and agility.

Is Rosie from the Jetsons becoming a reality? China tests “robot cleaners” with artificial intelligence inside homes for R$ 114, capable of collecting trash, folding clothes, and mapping apartments, turning domestic cleaning into a living laboratory for companies that want to teach machines to act like humans.
According to the manufacturer, open-sea tests were conducted in 2024, in the waters of Curaçao. Following these tests, one unit has already been prepared for delivery, signaling the start of commercial operation.
Compact structure and operational capacity
The submarine is 6.5 meters long, maintaining reduced dimensions for greater control.
Additionally, the model carries up to two passengers, plus the pilot, expanding its usage capacity.
At the same time, the equipment reaches depths of up to 300 meters, allowing for broader exploration.
Thus, the model positions itself as an efficient solution for private underwater operations.
Maneuvering system enhances control and vision
One of the main differentiators is the ability to perform tilts of up to 30 degrees during navigation.
This expands the field of view and makes navigation more precise.
This performance is possible thanks to the hydrofoils installed on the rear of the submarine.
These components assist in controlling turning, tilting, and diving with greater fluidity.
At the front, the model uses a transparent acrylic hull, ensuring wide visibility.
Thus, the occupants have an unobstructed panoramic view of the underwater environment.
Speed surpasses conventional standards
The super sub was inspired by the hydrodynamics of marine animals, which directly influenced its performance.
Therefore, the model reaches up to 10 knots, about 18 km/h, surpassing many traditional submersibles.
According to U-Boat Worx, this speed approaches standards observed in fast marine species.
In this way, the equipment offers more agile navigation on the seabed.
Additionally, the system is powered by a 62 kW battery, ensuring continuous operation.
With this, the submarine can operate for up to eight hours without interruption.
Positioning as an underwater hypercar
The project’s proposal is to position the model as an “underwater hypercar,” according to the manufacturer.
In this sense, the focus is on users seeking exclusive experiences and greater mobility in the ocean.
Based on the tests conducted and the first confirmed delivery in 2024, the model is beginning its market presence.
Thus, the super sub reinforces a growing trend of innovation in private underwater exploration.
Faced with this technological advancement, the proposal raises an inevitable reflection — how far can underwater exploration evolve with increasingly fast and sophisticated equipment?
