The new Virtus Sense 2025 arrives on the automotive market with attractive prices and targets a different audience: discover the new features of the most affordable version of the Volkswagen sedan!

Following the trend of other models in the line, the new Virtus Sense 2025 will be Volkswagen's most affordable sedan on the market. However, unlike its “siblings”, such as the Polo and the T-Cross Sense, which mainly cater to the PCD public, the Virtus Sense 2025 will focus on fleet customers. In this article, we will explore the main features and new features of this launch by the German automaker Volkswagen.

How much does the new Virtus Sense 2025 cost?

The sedan's objective in the automotive market is more similar to that of the Polo Track: to be a very simple version, which gives up luxuries, however small, to ensure a more affordable price. The new version of the model can also help improve sales of the sedan, bringing it closer to rivals such as the Fiat Cronos and the Chevrolet onix Plus.

The new Virtus Sense 2025 starts from R$ 103.990 for the general public, being R$ 11.400 reais cheaper than the current Virtus TSI manual. However, purchases with a CNPJ receive a discount, bringing the price down to R$85.210. On the outside, its design will be simpler. The rearview mirrors and door handles of the new Virtus Sense 2025 are painted black, while the wheels are 15-inch steel with hubcaps.

To reach this price in the automotive market, first, the sedan comes with the simplest mechanical set offered for the Virtus: 1.0 turbo engine with up to 116 horsepower 16,8 kgfm with a five-speed manual transmission. It also loses the 10,1-inch multimedia center and starts using the Media Plus II infotainment radio with Bluetooth, just like the Polo Track.

Equipment present in the VW sedan

However, there are still some treats, such as electric steering, air conditioning, electric windows, 8-inch digital instrument panel, LED headlights and taillights, six airbags, tire pressure sensor, hill start assist, emergency braking alert, automatic post-collision braking system and cruise control.

Even though it is the most basic version, the new Virtus Sense 2025 has the same color options as the Highline version. These are the solid Ninja Black and Crystal White, and the metallic Platinum Gray, Sirius Silver and Biscay Blue.

The most expensive version of the sedan is the Exclusive, which costs R$ 154.790, which comes equipped with a 1.4 turbo engine with direct injection, capable of delivering a maximum power of 150 horsepower at 4.500 RPM and torque of 25,5 kgfm at 1.500 RPM, both numbers valid for both ethanol and gasoline. Finally, the powertrain is completed by a six-speed automatic transmission.

VW T-Cross also receives Sense 2025 version

In addition to the sedan, Volkswagen do Brasil has already announced to its dealership network that the compact SUV T-Cross Sense 2025 can now be ordered since November 1, 2024. It is worth mentioning that MDA had already announced the launch of the model first-hand.

Before talking about the model, it is necessary to highlight that the pricing is maintained: R$ 119.990 for the general public and R$ 101.791,14 for the PcD public after the exemptions of full IPI and partial ICMS.

In terms of content, the T-Cross Sense gains automatic emergency braking, LED headlights and taillights, anti-glare rearview mirror, 8-inch digital instrument panel and 10,1-inch VW Play multimedia center with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
