TAG and Unigel Signed Gas Transportation Agreement in Bahia and Sergipe
This is the first relevant natural gas transportation contract signed with a new agent in the context of the sector’s desverticalization and the opening of the gas market in Brazil involving Sergipe and Bahia with TAG and Unigel.

The Associated Gas Transporter S.A. – TAG and Proquigel Química S.A. – Proquigel, a company that is part of the Unigel Group, signed an interruptible natural gas transportation service contract to supply two fertilizer plants operated by the petrochemical company in Bahia and Sergipe.
The agreement, starting on January 29, provides for the delivery of 2.3 million cubic meters (Mm³) of gas per day.

Sergipe and Bahia
The Sergipe plant will be the first to receive the input as part of the new business, with an average volume of 1.1 million m³ per day, while the Bahia plant will receive an average of 1.2 million m³/d, with an expected start date in March.
TAG holds the most extensive gas transportation pipeline network in the country, with approximately 4,500 km, accounting for 47% of the total gas transportation infrastructure in the country.
There are 3,700 km along Brazil’s coastal region, passing through almost 200 municipalities in nine Brazilian states – Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Bahia, Espírito Santo, and Rio de Janeiro – and another 800 km in the Amazon, connecting the oil-producing region of Urucu to Manaus in Amazonas.
