In a Press Release, the Port Authority of Rio Grande do Norte (CODERN) Informs the Potiguar Society That the Port Terminal of Natal Received, This Thursday (08), the Anticipated Container Scanner.
The installation procedures were immediately initiated for the operation of the Port Terminal of Natal. Conversations and negotiations with public agents (Federal Police, Federal Revenue, Anvisa, and Ministry of Agriculture), shipowners (CMA CGM), and port operators (Progeco) operating in the Port have been ongoing since 2019 to enhance security.

The CODERN expressed gratitude to the shipowner CMA CGM and the port operator, Progeco, as well as to the group of fruit growers (the main clients), who made the implementation and operation of this necessary security-enhancing tool a reality.
