We Analyzed the Technical Data Sheet of the Voltz EVS, Which Attracts for Its Range, Fast Charging, and Exemption from IPVA, but Requires Caution Due to the Corporate Scenario of Its Manufacturer.
The Voltz EVS electric motorcycle represents a milestone in the Brazilian market, proposing an urban mobility solution with notable specifications. The model promises a range of up to 180 km, a charging time of only five hours at a residential outlet, and the advantage of exemption from IPVA in several states. However, a complete analysis of the product is inseparable from the current situation of its manufacturer, Voltz Motors, which is undergoing a judicial recovery process with operations suspended, a factor that redefines the risk for consumers.
What Is the Voltz EVS Electric Motorcycle?
The Voltz EVS electric motorcycle was conceived as a technological and efficient alternative to low-displacement gasoline motorcycles, which are the majority in Brazil. Its design aims to meet contemporary consumer demands through a tripod of benefits: performance with sustainability, convenience in charging routine, and a significant reduction in ownership and usage costs.
Key Attractions of the Voltz Electric Motorcycle

The main draw of the model is its range capability. With a set of two batteries, the electric motorcycle can travel up to 180 kilometers on a single charge, although this figure is dependent on controlled riding conditions, such as using the “Eco” mode.

Less than a Tera TSI, up to 710 km of range and charging in 9 minutes: the new BYD Song Ultra expands the Chinese brand’s bet on increasingly faster, more technological, and competitively priced electric SUVs.

With a 1.0 engine producing 75 hp and costing less than R$ 70,000, Fiat’s car returns to the podium as the cheapest in the country; a temporary promotion for the 2026 Like version reduces the price of the Fiat Mobi.
-
With a mild hybrid system of 48 V, 176 hp and a price of R$ 175,990 in the Sahara version, the new Jeep Renegade changes mostly on the inside, improves slightly in fuel consumption, and remains almost the same car.
-
With a 293.5 cm³ engine and a range of up to 400 km with a 14.1-liter tank, the Honda CB 300F Twister 2026 has up to 24.7 hp, an initial price of R$ 25,150, and already exceeds R$ 29,000 in the Fipe Table.
Practicality is another pillar of the EVS. Its lithium-ion batteries are removable, allowing charging to be done at any standard outlet (bivolt), eliminating reliance on specialized infrastructures. The total charging time is five hours.
From a financial perspective, the exemption from the Property Tax on Motor Vehicles (IPVA), valid in several states, is a strong argument, promising considerable annual savings.
Performance and Technology of the Electric Motorcycle
Equipped with an electric motor rated at 3,000W (with peaks of 7,000W), the Voltz EVS electric motorcycle offers robust performance for the urban environment. The motorcycle can reach a top speed of 120 km/h and has an acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h in 6 seconds.
The rider has access to three driving modes to manage performance and energy consumption: Eco, Standard, and Turbo. Technologically, the EVS stands out for its color TFT digital display, Bluetooth connectivity with speakers, and the functionality of reverse gear, which facilitates maneuvers.
The Current Scenario of the Manufacturer Voltz Motors
It is essential for potential buyers to be aware of the corporate context. Voltz Motors, the manufacturer of the EVS electric motorcycle, is facing a deep financial crisis and filed for judicial recovery. As a result, the company’s factory in Manaus has suspended operations. This scenario severely impacts the production of new motorcycles, the supply of spare parts, and the entire guarantee and after-sales support structure, generating a high degree of risk for new buyers and current owners.
