The reduction announced by the São Paulo Government affects toll plazas in municipalities such as Jaguariúna, Águas da Prata, Estiva Gerbi, Espírito Santo do Pinhal, Itobi, Casa Branca, Mococa, and Aguaí. The largest decrease will be in Jaguariúna, where the fare will be halved, dropping from R$ 17.60 to R$ 8.80.
The São Paulo Government will begin, starting July 1st, a reduction in toll fares at plazas located in the Jaguariúna region and other municipalities in the interior of São Paulo. The measure is part of the state policy of modernizing road concessions and aims, according to the government, to expand tariff justice and promote greater regional balance in charging.
Jaguariúna Toll Will Have a 50% Cut
The largest announced reduction will be at the Jaguariúna plaza. There, the fare will drop from R$ 17.60 to R$ 8.80, a 50% decrease. The change represents the main cut among the values disclosed by the state government.
Other plazas will also have significant reductions. In Águas da Prata, the fare will drop from R$ 6.30 to R$ 4.60, representing a 27% decrease. In Estiva Gerbi, the fare will be reduced from R$ 10.50 to R$ 7.80, a 26% decrease.

Other Cities Will Also Have Lower Rates
In Espírito Santo do Pinhal, the toll will drop from R$ 13.10 to R$ 10.45, a 20% reduction. The same percentage will be applied in Itobi, where the fare will be adjusted from R$ 13.40 to R$ 10.75.
There will also be cuts in Casa Branca, Mococa, and Aguaí. In Casa Branca, the fare will drop from R$ 9.40 to R$ 8.15, a 13% decrease. In Mococa, the fare will drop from R$ 8.90 to R$ 8.10, a 9% reduction. In Aguaí, the toll will be reduced from R$ 6.60 to R$ 6.30, a 5% decrease.
In São João da Boa Vista, the fare will remain at R$ 7.40.
New Model Replaces Point-to-Point System
In addition to the fare reductions, the change also replaces the current point-to-point system, which was limited to a specific section of the highway. The new model expands charging to all users passing through the plazas, not just those previously registered.
According to Raquel Carneiro, director of Artesp, the measure seeks “proportional fares” and “fairer for users,” with large-scale application starting July 1st.
