Focusing on inventory management of products, including routers and security cameras, TP-Link is seeking to strengthen its position in the regional market with the new factory while the government emphasizes its commitment to investments in job creation.

The global giant in internet devices, TP-Link, is taking a strategic step by announcing a new factory in Santa Catarina.
The memorandum of understanding recently signed with the state government for the investment aims not only to reinforce TP-Link’s presence in Brazil but also to generate around 500 new job openings in the region.

The company accounts for a large share of the European and U.S. markets, having sold over 1.8 billion products.
In Brazil, where it already has a distribution center in the state of São Paulo, the company aims to expand its presence with the installation of the new factory in Santa Catarina.
Thus, by signing the memorandum of understanding, Governor Jorginho Mello reinforced the government’s commitment to attracting investments to Santa Catarina, aiming for income generation, taxes, and, primarily, jobs for the state’s residents.
The global vice president of TP-Link, Ruihong Bai, expressed gratitude for the support from the state government in the new factory project.
Now, the company is preparing to proceed with the necessary investments for the implementation of the new venture.
