Seeking greater sustainability in its operations, TranspoTech, after acquiring more than 400 electrical equipment, has now invested R$ 2 million in the purchase of cars and a 100% electric truck

TranspoTech, founded in Santa Catarina and specialist in handling equipment solutions, invested BRL 2 million to use electric cars in part of its fleet. In addition to 10 electric cars for transporting the team, the investment also includes an electric truck with a load capacity of 1,6 tons for its headquarters in the city of Blumenau (SC). The vehicles are expected to arrive at the beginning of next year, and in the first quarter they will begin their activities.

TranspoTech purchases over 400 electrical equipment

TranspoTech, in addition to electric cars, already has more than 80% of its forklift fleet allocated to customers in the electric model. This year alone, the company has invested in more than 400 electrical and 100% sustainable equipment from the Still brand, the industry leader in the country.

The electric cars have a range of 300 km and will be recharged inside TranspoTech itself, which has solar photovoltaic power plants in Blumenau (SC), Nova Santa Rita (RS) and Curitiba (PR).

Together, the plants reduce emissions by 79 tons of carbon per year, which neutralizes, for example, 2,1 trees planted or a journey of 514 kilometers by a common vehicle.

TranspoTech pronounces on investment in electric cars

The CEO of TranspoTech, Ricardo Cristiano Oribka, points out that the investment in electric cars is yet another demonstration of alignment with the agenda Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

According to Ricardo, the company has been working for many years, aware that the use of electric forklifts is not the future, but the market's present. Nothing fairer than using the same technology to move the company's teams, both commercial and customer service.

For Transpotech's fleet and ESG manager, Maurício Morauer, investment in electric cars will encourage other companies to do the same type of action. Maurício says that the company is already a reference in terms of sustainability, transparency and inclusion and highlights that the company always wants to inspire the market more and more so that the future is seen with more attention.
