Companies Will Invest Millions in Their Structures and Promise to Generate Many Opportunities in the Interior of Bahia

Bahia will see new investments that will ensure the creation of dozens of jobs in the state. The Secretariat of Economic Development (SDE) confirmed three projects that together represent an investment of R$ 13.5 million in Bahia. According to the site Bahia dia a dia, the investments will take place in the cities of Simões Filho, Itabela, and Brumado. These investments will generate around 130 job openings in Bahia.

The expectation is that with the three projects in Bahia, a total of 130 job openings will be created. See below how the generation of these job openings in Bahia is expected to unfold.

Investments Will Generate Job Opportunities in Bahia

Baiana, part of the Lojas Baianão network, focused on furniture, upholstery, and mattresses, is expected to create around 70 job openings in Simões Filho. The company will spend a hefty R$ 5 million to set up the factory. Meanwhile, BRV Pré-moldados will invest R$ 2.5 million and generate about 30 job openings in Bahia, with the investment taking place in the city of Itabela.

Our goal is to contribute directly to the development of the Extreme South of Bahia, we will serve the industrial sector, commerce, and agribusiness, producing poles and crossbeams for the expansion of electricity distribution networks and pre-molded warehouses, which will facilitate and reduce costs in implementing other investments in the region”, declared Rafael Beckmann.

Quartzolar-Argamassa e Rejunte is set to invest in Brumado, generating around 30 job openings in Bahia. The funds will be used to modernize its entire industry.

I am very happy to announce the forecast of these new jobs and investment volume amidst this crisis caused by Covid-19, where so many Brazilians are in need of work and to support their families”, stated João Leão.
