Based on the Technology of the 210 Generator, Chinese Giant Prepares to Produce a New Era of More Advanced Solar Power Modules, with 500 W of Power
Trina Solar announced on February 30 that it has ceased production of the first large-scale solar power module developed by the company to deploy the 210 mm silicon wafer (210 module). Now, the company is preparing to produce a new era of more advanced modules, with 500 W of power. The Chinese giant leads the industry in research and development and in the production of 210 modules. The exit of this module will make room for the entry of other large-scale modules into the market.

The research and development of the first 210 module was initiated by the company in 2019. With advanced multi-busbar technology, it adopts an innovative 1/3 cut design. These modules were developed by overcoming challenges such as strong module power, efficiency, manufacturing difficulties, hot spot risks, output current performance, and connection box safety. According to the company, with all this experience, the module will pave the way for the compatibility and integration of large-scale systems, high-power modules, and downstream.
