UNICENTRO Opens New Selection Process for the Position of EaD Pedagogical Assistant. Home Office Positions Remain Open for Applications Until March 27. Don’t Waste Time!
The State University of the Midwest (UNICENTRO) launched on March 18 the opening of a new selection process with home office positions that promises to change the careers of education professionals interested in integrating innovative projects in the EaD modality.
With the new Notice, the institution is looking for professionals for the role of EaD Pedagogical Assistant, offering attractive scholarships and the opportunity to participate in the digital transformation of higher education.
Main Requirements to Participate in the Selection for Home Office Positions
The selection process for the EaD Pedagogical Assistant aims to temporarily hire professionals to work in the Distance Education Nucleus (NEAD), linked to the Open University System of Brazil (UAB) at UNICENTRO.

The home office positions of the selection process are intended for professionals who wish to contribute to the quality of distance education by developing teaching materials and supporting the management and execution of EaD courses.
The notice provides for the hiring of 8 professionals distributed as follows:
Pedagogical Assistant – Licentiate (5 Positions)
For these home office positions, candidates must hold a degree, have experience in EaD, hold a master’s degree, and have one year of experience in higher education teaching or three years or more of experience in higher education teaching.
Pedagogical Assistant – Designer (2 Positions)
For these opportunities as EaD Pedagogical Assistant in the selection process, candidates must have a degree in Social Communication or Design, have experience in EaD, hold a master’s degree, and have one year of experience in higher education teaching or three years or more of experience in higher education teaching.
Pedagogical Assistant – Administration/Project Management (1 Position)
This opportunity requires a degree in Management or Administration, experience in EaD, a master’s degree, and one year of experience in higher education teaching or three years or more of experience in higher education teaching.
Learn How to Apply for the Selection Process
To apply for the position of EaD Pedagogical Assistant, interested parties must complete registration on the UNICENTRO website between March 13 and 27, 2025. Those selected for the home office positions in the selection process will receive a scholarship of R$ 1,550 paid by CAPES, in accordance with Ordinance No. 309, of September 27, 2024.
It is worth mentioning that UNICENTRO will not be responsible for registration requests via the internet that are not completed due to communication failures, congestion of communication lines, or other technical reasons that prevent data transfer.
The workload is 20 hours per week, with in-person activities at the State University of the Midwest, located in Guarapuava. The selected candidate must mandatorily participate in a continuing education course, as per a schedule to be defined and communicated. The absence of the candidate from the continuing education course will result in immediate dismissal.
Stages of the Selection Process to Fill the EaD Pedagogical Assistant Position
The selection process for the home office positions at UNICENTRO will be divided into two phases, namely the Curriculum Analysis Phase and Interview via Web Conference.
The first phase consists of evaluating documents and resumes with a maximum score of 100 points, weighing half in the final average; only the top 6 candidates in each modality advance to the next phase.
The second phase is scheduled to take place on April 3 and 4, during which personal presentations and responses to questions formulated by the commission will be conducted, with a maximum score of 100 points and a minimum score of 60 points for approval. The final classification will be determined by the sum of the scores obtained in both phases, in descending order.
