A Federal University of Maranhão – UFMA published an announcement this week, where it will open registration for the 2022 Public Contest. UFMA is offering vacancies for mid-level and higher-level positions. The tests will take place in May of this year. The Federal University of Maranhão is a Brazilian public higher education institution, maintained by the Federal Government of Brazil. UFMA is a foundation linked to the Ministry of Education. The evidence of public tender of UFMA will only take place on May 22, 2022, from 9 am to 13 pm, only in the capital São Luís. The objective tests will have 50 multiple-choice questions, and for each question there will be 5 alternatives, that is, from A to E, with only one correct alternative.

Regardless of the position, there will be 10 questions of Portuguese Language, 10 questions of Legislation and 30 questions of Specific Knowledge. The candidate who achieves a score equal to or greater than 40% of the total points will be considered approved.

Positions and salaries

The positions offered are: Laboratory Technician (for Dental Clinics), Administrator (Level E) and Technician in Educational Affairs (Level E). As already mentioned, the positions are for middle and higher level. Starting salaries are up to R$ 4.180,66. There will be 4 vacancies for Laboratory Technician (Dental Clinics), 2 vacancies for Administrator (Level E) and 1 vacancy for Technician in Educational Affairs (Level E).

Those who are approved for the different positions offered in the notice of the Federal University of Maranhão will be entitled to the following salaries initially offered, R$ 2.446,96, for medium/technical level and R$ 4.180,66, for higher level.

The workday will be 40 hours a week for all those who occupy the vacancies offered. It is worth noting that those interested should register on the UFMA website, from March 28th to April 11th.

Prerequisites for the Federal University of Maranhão – UFMA contest

So that they can conquer the vacancies of the positions offered in the announcement of the UFMA public tender, interested candidates need to fulfill some specific requirements. For those who wish to fill the positions of Laboratory Technician – area: Dental Clinics, it is necessary to have completed high school and/or a technical course in that specific area, or even professional high school in the area.

It is also extremely important for the candidate to register with the relevant Council. As for the position of Administrator, the candidate must have a duly registered diploma, or proof of completion of a higher-level undergraduate course in Administration – valid only for higher education institutions that are duly recognized by the MEC. It is also necessary that the candidate is regularly registered with the relevant Council.

Finally, for a Technician in Educational Affairs, the candidate must also have his or her diploma issued and registered, or proof of completion of a higher-level undergraduate course in Pedagogy or Degrees – this is also valid only if it is issued by an institution of higher education recognized by MEC.
