The Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB) Offers Hundreds of Spots in Free Courses, Including Engineering, Marketing, Medicine, and Other Areas.

Recently, the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB) announced the opening of applications for 786 spots in free higher education courses. Interested parties should apply by January 18, using their ENEM scores and opting for only one application category.

With classes expected to start on March 4, according to the academic calendar, the Federal University of Southern Bahia offers free courses such as:

Of the total spots available in higher education courses, 761 are residual and divided among the campuses in the cities of Ilhéus, Porto Seguro, and Teixeira de Freitas. There are also opportunities in the Anísio Teixeira Network of University Colleges in the municipalities of Ibicaraí, Coaraci, Porto Seguro, Itabuna, Santa Cruz Cabrália, Teixeira de Freitas, Eunápolis, Itamaraju, and Posto da Mata.

Additionally, there will also be 25 spots for the Cocoa and Chocolate Production Technology undergraduate course, at the Jorge Amado Campus in Ilhéus. As mentioned earlier, classes are expected to start on March 4, according to the calendar.

Those interested in the higher education courses of the Federal University of Southern Brazil can apply using their National High School Exam (ENEM), held in the last ten years, or the National Exam for Certification of Young and Adult Skills (Encceja). Interested individuals can register through the form. Those who are interested should choose only one application category, one location for offering, and competition modality.

Federal University of Southern Bahia Offers Undergraduate Courses Through Sisu

The Federal University of Southern Bahia will also offer 2,132 spots in free courses in the next edition of the Unified Selection System (Sisu). According to the university’s adhesion term to the system, the spots will be available for competition in 50 courses, with classes in the three campuses in Ilhéus, Porto Seguro, and Teixeira de Freitas.

According to UFSB data, of the spots, 151 are for broad competition and 1,981 for affirmative policies, including those determined by federal laws.
