The free specialization course aims to qualify high school teachers in Social Sciences, offering theoretical and practical support to face the challenges of everyday school life. Held online (EAD), it includes two mandatory face-to-face meetings, one at the beginning and one at the end of the course. Lasting 18 months and with a total workload of 360 hours, the activities are distributed across three modules that cover methodologies, history of sociology, political participation and citizenship, in addition to guidance for the Final Course Work (TCC).

Available vacancies and locations

There are 150 places available for the free online course (EAD) distributed across five in-person support centers: Currais Novos, Macau, Natal, Patu and Sรฃo Gonรงalo do Amarante. Each center has open competition (AC) places, affirmative action for black people, indigenous people and people with disabilities, as well as places for UFRN employees.

The selection process for specialization takes place in four stages: approval of applications, analysis of documents, hetero-identification for black candidates and publication of the final result.
