Manserv, Present in Macaé for Over 9 Years, Announces Investments of R$ 30 Million in the City and Thousands of New Job Openings Are Available.

On April 13, the Municipal Operation License was granted by the City Hall of Macaé, thus consolidating the initial and immediate investments of over R$ 30 million from Manserv, a company that operates in various sectors of the industrial market and offshore, which will promote approximately 2,500 new job openings this year.

The license, which officially allows the release of activities at the company’s new base, following new contracts signed with Petrobras, was delivered by Welberth Rezende, the city’s mayor, to Manserv’s director, Márcio Fraga. The meeting also included directors and managers working in maintenance and parts transformation for ships.

According to the mayor of Macaé, this moment marks the main delivery of the government, which is to strengthen investments and ensure job creation. Manserv represents the new era of oil in Macaé, which, alongside natural gas, projects a future of progress and prosperity for the population.

Present in Macaé since 2014, Manserv has expanded its activities in the city and now occupies an area of 34,000 square meters, thus increasing its production capacity from five tons to 25 tons of metallic structures per month for the maintenance of assets of exploration and production platforms located in the Espírito Santo, Campos, and Santos Basins.

Márcio highlights that the company is celebrating the consolidation of the strategy developed over the past few years, representing an investment from the entire company.

Macaé Invests in Free Qualification Courses to Meet Demands

During the meeting with Manserv’s management, Wellberth also highlighted the Macaé government’s initiative to understand the job creation demand from new companies being established and the expansion of the city, with the aim of promoting free qualification courses for the city’s workers, ensuring access to the so-called “first job”.

Rezende emphasizes that it is of interest to the Macaé city hall to know the hiring demand of companies and ensure that the city’s workers are adequately qualified to take on these new job openings.

The government’s initiative, alongside Petrobras, to provide opportunities for inexperienced professionals in specific offshore sector areas also aids in the expansion of new local workforce hires.

Manserv Has Already Started Offering New Job Openings

Manserv is already operating at full speed in the city and is seeking professionals to work at Petrobras. For now, the company is offering 100 job openings focused on welding, layout, and boilermaking activities. Among the positions available at the company are:
