Manserv, present in Macaé for over 9 years, announces investments of R$ 30 million in the municipality and thousands of new jobs are open.
On April 13, the delivery of the Municipal license of Operation by the Municipality of Macaé, thus consolidating the initial and immediate investments of more than R$ 30 million by Manserv, a company that operates in the most varied sectors of the industrial and offshore, which will promote around 2,5 new jobs this year alone.
Manserv expands operations in Macaé and occupies an area of 34 thousand m²
The license, which makes the release of activities at the company's new base official, based on new contracts signed with Petrobras, was delivered by Welberth Rezende, mayor of the city, to the director of Manserv, Márcio Fraga. The meeting was also attended by directors and managers who work in the lines of maintenance and transformation of parts for ships.
According to the mayor of Macaé, this moment marks the main delivery of the government, which is to strengthen investments and guarantee the generation of job openings. Manserv represents the new oil era in Macaé, which together with natural gas, projects a future of progress and much prosperity for the population.

Present in Macaé since 2014, Manserv expanded its activities in the municipality and now occupies an area of 34 square meters, thus expanding its production capacity from five tons to 25 tons per month of metallic structure, for the conservation of platform assets exploration and production of reserves located in the Espírito Santo, Campos and Santos basins.
Márcio points out that the company is celebrating as it marks the consolidation of the strategy developed in recent years and that it represents an investment by the entire company.
Macaé invests in free training courses to meet demands
At the meeting with Manserv's directors, Wellberth also highlighted the Macaé government's initiative to learn about the demand for job creation by new companies that are being installed and the expansion of the city, with the aim of promoting free courses of qualification for workers in the city, so that access to the so-called “first job” is also guaranteed.
Rezende points out that it is in the interest of Macaé City Hall to know the hiring demand of companies, and ensure that workers in the city are duly qualified to take on these new job openings.
The government's initiative to guarantee, alongside Petrobras, the opportunity for vacancies without experience for professionals who work in specific areas of the offshore sector also helps in the expansion of new hires of local labor.
Manserv already starts offering new jobs
Manserv is already working at full steam in the municipality and is looking for professionals to work at Petrobras. For the time being, the company is offering 100 jobs with a focus on welding, drafting and boiler making activities. Among the positions opened by the company are:

- Painting inspector (with specialization in NDT);
