The selection process is available for professionals in Brazil and is scheduled to start on December 1, 2025, with a three-month temporary contract and possibility of extension.
The job opening is aimed at qualified technicians with proven experience in onboard electrical maintenance. The work schedule will be 14 days on and 14 days off, a standard model in offshore operations.

Role and Responsibilities of the Offshore Electrician
The selected professional will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing onboard electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of low and high voltage equipment and installations.
In addition, they will need to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, generators, cables, and electrical distribution panels.
Daily activities also include testing and measurements in circuits, monitoring electrical parameters, and providing technical support in automation and commissioning systems.
According to Atlas NextWave, the electrician must strictly follow the protocols for safety, health, and environmental standards, as well as cooperate with other technical teams, such as instrumentation and mechanics.
Mandatory Requirements and Certifications
To apply for the offshore electrician position, a technical course in Electrotechnics or related fields is required, in addition to a valid registration with CREA.
The company also requests previous experience in marine units, such as FPSOs, platforms, or drill ships, and expertise in electrical generation and distribution systems.
The candidate must demonstrate knowledge in electric motors, frequency inverters, MCC panels, and grounding.
Among the mandatory certifications for boarding are the CBSP, THUET, NR-37, NR-35, NR-34, NR-33, and NR-10 courses. Advanced English will be considered an important differential.
