Job Objective

- Conduct safety inspections at the units, checking the conditions of all environments to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases, in compliance with Labor Legislation and Regulatory Standards.
- The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Guide and coordinate the work safety system, investigating risks and causes of accidents, analyzing prevention schemes.
- Inspect locations, facilities, and equipment of the company and determine accident risk factors.
- Propose safety rules and devices, suggesting possible modifications to equipment and installations and checking their compliance to prevent accidents.
- Inspect fire-fighting stations, examining hoses, hydrants, extinguishers, and fire protection equipment.
- Communicate the results of inspections by preparing reports.
- Investigate accidents that occur, examining the conditions of the occurrence to identify their causes and propose appropriate measures.
- Act as an intermediary with the institution’s medical and social services to facilitate necessary assistance for the injured.
- Record irregularities and prepare accident statistics.
- Train the company’s employees on safety standards, fire fighting, and other accident prevention measures.
- Participate in meetings on workplace safety, providing data related to the subject, presenting suggestions, and analyzing the feasibility of proposed safety measures to improve the existing system.
