Machine Operator – Offshore (Macaé/RJ Base)
The Machine Operator will have a dynamic and highly responsible routine aboard the offshore support vessels. Under the supervision of the Duty Officer in the Engine Room, the professional will be responsible for following the “Permanent Orders of the Chief Engineer,” performing essential tasks for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Their responsibilities include executing lubrication services, preventive maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, tank soundings, and checking the operational conditions of systems such as air conditioning and refrigeration chambers. The work is performed on a boarding schedule, with working shifts and rest periods to be defined according to legislation and project requirements. The professional will also actively participate in cleaning, treatment, and painting tasks in the Engine Room, as well as assist in fueling maneuvers, always prioritizing safety and environmental pollution prevention, using all necessary PPE.

Job Requirements
To qualify for this position, it is essential that the candidate presents the following documents and competencies: Enrollment and Registration Book (CIR) in the category of Machine Operator (MNM – Rule III/4); valid certifications of TBS (Basic Safety Training) and EBCP (Survival and Rescue Boats); and proven experience in the role, with having worked on AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply), RSV (ROV Support Vessel), or similar vessels being a plus. A candidate with intermediate-level English will have a significant advantage in the selection process, as proficiency will be tested.
