The Company Managed to Expand Its Supply Contract for Pipes and Services to Equinor
Vallourec Brazil managed to extend its contract with the Norwegian Equinor until March 2024, in addition to expanding the scope of the agreement. The company will start supplying new products in the line of seamless steel pipes and OCTG accessories, which are used in operations in Brazil.

It will also provide specialized maintenance services, storage, shipping preparation, collaborative planning, rig return, inspection and repair services.
For Equinor, the services provided by Vallourec Brazil will be directed to the Peregrino Field, in the Campos Basin, in Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, they will be used in Bacalhau, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, in the state of São Paulo.

This new demand for products and services is expected to be supplied starting the first quarter of 2021.
About the Company: Vallourec has seven units in Brazil. In Minas Gerais, the Barreiro and Jeceaba units focus on the production of seamless steel pipes; Vallourec Florestal is responsible for producing charcoal that supplies the Blast Furnace of the pipe production units; and Vallourec Mineração meets the internal iron ore supply needs. The company also has a Business unit in the state, providing administrative services.
In Rio de Janeiro, Vallourec Transportes e Serviços (VTS) provides specialized services for the oil and gas sector. In Espírito Santo, the Tubos Soldados Atlântico (TSA) unit produces large-diameter spiral welded steel pipes for various applications, such as gas pipelines, oil pipelines, fluid conduction, structural and sanitation.
