New Electric Mustang From Ford Uses Cutting-Edge Technology And Surprises Consumers
The new electric car from Ford can detect the driver’s smartphone by proximity, unlocking its doors and allowing the vehicle to drive without the driver taking the phone out of their pocket. However, there are other alternatives, such as the option to enter a security code beside the center column to open the doors, and also a central touchscreen to start the engine.
It is worth mentioning that there are no door handles, but rather a button located in the glass frame. Inside the Ford electric car, there is a central screen of 15.5 inches that operates nearly the entire Mustang. According to Ford’s Director of Electric Vehicle Development, Darren Palmer, some buttons were kept, even with the panel, as some customers prefer to have a few physical controls.
Behind the steering wheel of the electric car, there is also a configurable 10.2-inch display that can change its appearance depending on the driving mode chosen by the driver. In total, there are three appearances, which are named Whisper, Active, and Untamed.
