The company Red Rocket placed an order for turbines with Vestas for the Witberg Wind Farm, located in South Africa, and the contract includes the supply and installation of 24 V136-4.5 MW wind turbines, as well as a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) contract. Red Rocket’s CEO, Matteo Brambilla, stated that ‘this project will be the largest privately owned wind farm built in South Africa to date and will significantly contribute to the region’s energy landscape’.
