With Agreement Signed Between 2W Energy and Vestas, Kairos Project in Ceará Will Have About 25 Giant Wind Turbines in Its Wind Power Park
Vestas has already started 2022 by signing an agreement with 2W Energy to supply around 25 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines, including a service contract that will last around 15 years, or more, for the 113 MW Kairos project, located in the municipality of Icapuí, in the state of Ceará. The aim of installing wind turbines is to optimize energy production throughout the project’s lifespan. After sealing this major agreement, Vestas exceeds its own milestone of 6 GW in order intake in the country for V150 wind turbine models, with power modes of 4.2 MW and 4.5 MW, establishing itself as the best-selling wind turbine model here in Brazil. The V150-4.2 MW model surpassed 17.5 GW in order intake globally.
