Volkswagen Virtus Sees Price Increase Across All Versions in March; Model Now Starts at R$ 108,990 and Reaches R$ 165,990 in Top Trim
Anyone planning to buy a Volkswagen Virtus will need to reevaluate their budget. The sedan lineup has seen price increases across all versions this March. The adjustments reach R$ 6,400, and the new prices are already updated on the manufacturer’s website and in the specifications.
The most affordable version, called Sense, saw an increase of R$ 3,000. As a result, the model now starts at R$ 108,990. This configuration is equipped with a 1.0 turbo flex engine producing 116 hp and a manual transmission.
Just above it, the Volkswagen Virtus 170 TSI with a five-speed manual transmission also increased by R$ 3,000, going from R$ 116,990 to R$ 119,990. Like the Sense, it also features the same mechanical setup, shared with the Polo.

However, the largest adjustment was applied to the 170 TSI automatic version. This option, highly sought after by companies and the PcD audience, saw an increase of R$ 6,400. Now, the model costs R$ 126,390. This configuration also brings the 1.0 turbo engine with 116 hp, but with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Among the versions with a more powerful engine, the increase was R$ 4,000. Both the Volkswagen Virtus Comfortline and the Virtus Highline use the 1.0 turbo flex engine with 128 hp and 200 Nm. With the adjustments, the Comfortline is now priced at R$ 141,990, while the Highline is at R$ 152,990.
At the top of the line is the Virtus Exclusive. This is the only version equipped with the 1.4 turbo flex engine with 150 hp and 250 Nm, always with a six-speed automatic transmission. The price also increased by R$ 4,000, bringing the final price to R$ 165,990.

All models are now available at the new prices. In addition, Volkswagen is preparing a change in the production of the Volkswagen Virtus. In the coming months, the sedan will be manufactured in São José dos Pinhais (PR), at the same plant that assembles the T-Cross SUV.
