Get Ready For An Automotive Revolution In 2024: Volkswagen Is Ready To Lead The Market With A New Surprising Model Aiming To Definitely Surpass Fiat’s Popular Cars.

When discussing the main car manufacturers, it’s impossible not to mention the new cars from Volkswagen. With a solid track record of innovation and quality, the German automaker, after the success of the Tiguan, is preparing to launch another impressive model, directly targeting its competitor, Fiat. This bold move from Volkswagen highlights the intense competition in the automotive sector and underscores its commitment to staying ahead in the market.

New Volkswagen Car Will Arrive In 2024

As revealed by Motor1 portal, the Nivus GTS, Volkswagen’s new model, is set to be launched in 2024, equipped with the IQ. Light system and 18-inch wheels. For those who are not yet familiar, this vehicle falls into the compact SUV category, directly competing with the Pulse from Fiat.

The source indicates that Volkswagen plans to introduce the all-new sporty version of the Nivus next year, accompanied by updates in design and performance. The model will be powered by the 250 TSI (1.4 Turbo) engine, which currently powers the Polo GTS. The information also indicates that the launch is scheduled to coincide with the fourth anniversary of the Nivus line, when all versions will undergo a renewal.

There is still no official information on pricing, but it is possible to make an estimate based on the price difference between the conventional versions of the Polo and the Polo GTS. For enthusiasts of the vehicle, the Nivus GTS will stand out even more with the new 18-inch wheels, giving it a sportier and more aggressive aesthetic.

Undoubtedly, Volkswagen is heavily investing in sportiness and driving experience with this launch. Besides the impressive Nivus GTS, it is crucial to remember that the automaker is also preparing to launch the Tiguan, marking its significant presence in a market that continues to expand.

New Volkswagen Car Delivers 150 Horsepower

The mechanical set will basically be the same as that of the Polo GTS. It features the previously mentioned 1.4 turbo engine with direct injection and variable double camshaft, producing 150 horsepower and 25.5 kgfm of torque with gasoline or ethanol and will always be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is a significant upgrade compared to the 1.0 TSI with 128 to 116 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 20.4 kgfm at 2,000 rpm.

It is still unknown what the performance level of the sporty version will be, but we can use the numbers from the Polo GTS as a reference. The hatch accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds and reaches close to 206 km/h.

Weighing 1,199 kg, the new Volkswagen car is slightly lighter than the 1,220 kg of the Polo GTS. It can be expected that its new version will have a weight similar to that of the hatch, meaning performance figures could be very close. Anyway, it will be well below 10s and 189 km/h of the current SUV versions.

Volkswagen Launch: Saveiro Extreme 2024

The company is betting on some changes that promise to further heat up the compact pickup sector. The highlight is the revamped look and the robust mechanical maintenance that is already a trademark of the line.

The new Volkswagen Saveiro retains the halogen headlights and incandescent turn signals. Several people believed that, due to the car’s price, it was about time for the automaker to use LEDs, both in the headlights and in the daytime running lights.

The front design has gained a new bumper and a redesigned grille, along with an “Extreme” sticker on the lower section. Despite the appeal to modernity, the headlights have retained their classic shape, a choice that may divide opinions. The price of the Volkswagen launch ranges from R$ 100,000 to R$ 117,000.
