Volvo Is Open for Applications for Its Trainee Program in Curitiba, Offering Hundreds of Job Openings for Recently Graduated Young People with No Experience
Volvo announced on Monday (4th) that it is open for applications for its 2022 trainee program, which focuses on young people who have studied Engineering. The mode of operation will be in-person, in Curitiba (PR). The Trainee Program seeks young individuals with no experience who wish for a chance to enter the world of technology and innovation and who are ready to be the next generation responsible for Volvo’s production and distribution centers.
How Will Volvo’s Trainee Program Work?
To enable approved candidates for the job openings in Curitiba to experience real challenges and evolve professionally, Volvo offers a trainee program that is complete and provides important experiences to enhance the skills of each participant.
The program will last one year and three months, and during this period, for three weeks, approved candidates will undergo an international experience. The focus of the trainee program in Curitiba will be the development of business themes, people management, performance culture, market trends, brand, products, and services.

Additionally, participants with no experience will also have the opportunity to engage in international and local projects, access the Volvo Group University platform, and participate in Quality Management or Volvo Production System (VPS) at the truck and bus factory. To participate in Volvo’s trainee program, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
- Completed education in engineering courses;
- Graduated between December 2019 and December of last year;
- Interest in technology and problem-solving;
- Available for international and national travel;
- Advanced or fluent English.
Candidates residing in Curitiba who meet the company’s requirements must apply by April 22nd on the 99Jobs website.
Stages of Volvo’s Selection Process
Volvo’s selection process will consist of five stages, in addition to the online application, which are: Online tests for logic, English, and cultural fit, Video conference interview, Group dynamics with the HR department, Business panel, and Interview.
Those who are approved for the job openings must go through the admission process set by the company before starting in the trainee program.
