One of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world is accepting applications until November 26, 2021, for the free online industrial qualification course in paint and varnish manufacturing, aimed at providing young people with knowledge and training in some of the company’s areas, enabling development and allowing them to remain within the WEG group.

WEG and Engie, the Second Largest in the World in the Energy Sector, Complete Installation of the Wind Turbine of the First National Wind Generator

WEG and ENGIE Brasil Energia are completing the most important phase of the Research and Development Project “National Wind Generator,” which is the assembly of the wind turbine.

Located in the municipality of Tubarão, in Santa Catarina, the wind turbine is installed in ENGIE’s experimental research and development park and is the result of a Strategic Project of the Research and Development (R&D) program of the company with the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL).

The wind generator was designed and built by WEG, and the second phase of the project also included resources from the R&D of the Electric Utilities of Santa Catarina S.A (CELESC).
