High capacity, advanced automation, and floor projection mark Xiaomi’s new launch, which bets on performance, efficiency, and smart home integration to offer a robust dishwasher, focusing on practicality in daily use and optimization of internal space.

Xiaomi introduced in China the Mijia Smart Dishwasher Pro 18-Set, a new smart dishwasher from the Mijia line, highlighting a capacity for up to 18 place settings and approximately 130 pieces per cycle, reinforcing its strategy to expand the portfolio of connected appliances.

Already available on the Youpin platform for 6,999 yuan, the model does not yet have an official release forecast for other markets, keeping the product restricted to the Chinese public at this initial stage of commercialization.

With dimensions of 598 x 775 x 570 mm and a weight of 45.5 kg, the appliance was developed for planned kitchens, allowing for built-in installation and integration with furniture, something common in premium solutions aimed at optimizing domestic space.

Aimed at larger families or routines with a high volume of dishes, the proposal combines high capacity with connectivity, maintaining compatibility with Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem and expanding automation possibilities in the home environment.

Capacity of 18 place settings draws attention

Among the main differentials, the spacious interior of the Mijia Smart Dishwasher Pro 18-Set stands out, accommodating up to 18 place settings, allowing for about 130 varied items, including plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, and other utensils.

Besides the capacity, the internal organization follows a pattern described as adapted to Chinese use, with dividers designed for different shapes of pieces, which contributes to better space utilization and greater efficiency in item arrangement.

By reducing the need for frequent adjustments during loading, this configuration favors the user’s routine and improves the distribution of utensils within the washing compartment.

Even with a focus on volume, the manufacturer also prioritized practical installation, allowing the equipment to be integrated into kitchen furniture without compromising the aesthetics or functionality of the environment.

Washing system with 52,000 Pa pressure

To ensure efficiency even with heavier loads, the equipment uses three spray arms combined with a multi-phase washing system, expanding water coverage in different directions within the chamber.

In this context, the set is driven by a dual-frequency BLDC motor, capable of reaching a pressure of up to 52,000 Pa, which helps remove more adhered residues on utensils like pans and plates with intense dirt.

With the aim of improving water distribution, Xiaomi also adopted an internal flow with a vortex effect, which favors liquid circulation and expands detergent reach during the cleaning process.

This system operates more efficiently, especially when the equipment is operating with a heavy load, ensuring more uniform coverage at different levels of the machine.

Sanitization with temperatures up to 135 °C

In the field of sanitization, the model bets on high temperatures to reinforce cleaning, reaching up to 135 °C in certain stages, with a dual-channel disinfection system aimed at reducing microorganisms.

Additionally, the dishwasher offers a quick mode that performs washing and drying in 59 minutes, an option designed for situations where there is a need for quicker use of utensils in daily life.

At the end of the cycle, the automatic door opening contributes to the release of accumulated steam, accelerating natural drying and reducing the internal humidity of the equipment.

Added to this are 16 main programs and four additional modes, which expand the possibilities of use according to the level of dirt, type of utensil, and user preference.

Projection on the floor replaces display

One of the most unusual elements of the launch is the absence of a traditional display, replaced by a system that projects information directly onto the floor, such as cycle status and remaining operating time.

With this solution, Xiaomi reduces the presence of screens on the equipment and reinforces the concept of discreet automation, keeping the design cleaner and aligned with modern environments.

At the same time, the model remains integrated with the Mi Home app, allowing remote control, real-time monitoring, and function customization within the brand’s ecosystem.

This way, the user can monitor the appliance’s operation and adjust settings according to their domestic routine, without relying on direct interaction on the physical panel.

Consumption, reservoir, and usage autonomy

Another relevant aspect involves the internal 450 ml liquid detergent reservoir, which can ensure autonomy for up to three weeks, depending on the frequency of use and the selected cycles.

This feature reduces the need for constant refilling and contributes to a more practical operation, especially in routines with frequent use of the equipment.

In terms of consumption, the model records approximately 12.4 liters of water per cycle and 0.835 kWh of energy, numbers that may vary according to usage conditions and the chosen program.

Even so, the data indicates performance aligned with the product’s proposal, considering its high capacity and the set of embedded technologies.

Price and market availability

In the Chinese market, the Mijia Smart Dishwasher Pro 18-Set was launched for 6,999 yuan, a value equivalent to about R$ 5.1 thousand in direct conversion, not including additional costs such as taxes or shipping.

So far, there is no official confirmation about the product’s arrival in Brazil or other countries, which keeps distribution restricted to Chinese territory.

Furthermore, Xiaomi has not released information about necessary adaptations for international standards, such as certifications, voltage, and technical support in other markets.

Historically, the Mijia line focuses initial launches in China, while eventual expansions depend on specific commercial strategies and the feasibility of adaptation for different regions.

I would still stay away. After years an on multiple markets present. Costumer service is bad. Quality just average.

No physical shop anymore in nz and spare parts for a vacuum cleaner with 4 years old nothing available, nothing listed on the Internet. They build throw away items. Even if the technologies they build are good or decent for the price. I’ve seen to many things not worth to buy.
