The most significant change was the installation of a Garrett turbo kit from Extreme Creations, raising the power of the MT-10’s CP4 engine to an impressive 260 hp.
This substantial increase is achieved when the muffler is removed, allowing the motorcycle to unleash its full potential.
Even with the muffler installed, the motorcycle still delivers impressive 230 hp, representing a remarkable jump compared to the already considerably high original power.
A Rare And Eye-Catching Approach In The World Of Two Wheels
In addition to the power boost, the preparer made changes to the design, including modifications to the air intakes, adjustments to the compression ratio, the introduction of an external wastegate, and the strategic installation of a custom intercooler on the left side of the motorcycle.
These adaptations were conducted not only to increase power but also to prevent overheating, preserve the distinct sounds associated with turbo engines, and ensure the reliability of the turbocharged engine in the modified Yamaha MT-10.
The result of this bold project transformed the Yamaha MT-10 into a motorcycle that is not only more powerful but also visually more aggressive.
While turbo engines are common in cars, this approach is still rare in motorcycles, making this Australian project particularly eye-catching for enthusiasts of the world of two wheels.
