Optimistic Projections for 2023: 262 Thousand Job and Internship Vacancies in Large Companies Like Americanas, Assaí Atacadista, Grupo Ri Happy, and More!

According to G1, the Brazilian job market is about to experience a wave of opportunities, opening positions for new employees as pointed out by the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services, and Tourism (CNC). With an optimistic projection, CNC estimates that 2023 will see a significant increase of 8.14% in temporary positions compared to 2022, totaling an impressive 262 thousand opportunities for new employees. In this promising scenario, several sectors stand out, with retail leading the hiring, followed by hospitality, restaurants, transport, and cultural activities.

Hiring is already in full swing, with large companies opening thousands of job vacancies to strengthen their workforce during Black Friday and the year-end holidays. Americanas, for example, is offering about 5 thousand job vacancies temporarily, while Assaí Atacadista has over 2.4 thousand opportunities for employees in its stores, present in 24 states and the Federal District. Grupo Ri Happy, specialized in joyful moments, is also contributing with more than 1.4 thousand temporary job vacancies for the Christmas period. In addition, this week’s list features over 100 internship vacancies, providing opportunities at renowned companies such as Amazon, Renner, Vivo, and Serasa.

Companies from various sectors are investing in internship and trainee programs, offering opportunities for students and recent graduates to start their careers. The Grupo Águas do Brasil launched its Internship Program 2024, with 43 vacancies available in concessions in Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. Amazon Brazil has over 20 vacancies for its international technology internship program, prioritizing candidates from underrepresented groups. Additionally, Renner is starting the selection of employees for the Transforma Trainee program 2024, offering opportunities in product and store management.
