The Company iFood in Partnership with Cubos Academy Opened Enrollment for 120 Scholarships in Free Programming Courses
iFood in partnership with Cubos Academy has opened enrollment for 120 scholarships in free courses. The courses will be held entirely online, starting on May 31, 2021, and running until November 19, 2021. The aim of the program is to train people who cannot use technology to understand software programming.
Scholarships for Free Programming Courses
The training will start from scratch, meaning you do not need prior knowledge in Programming, and they will provide a complete course to train you to become a Junior Software Developer. The candidate will learn about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Logic, Databases, SQL, Node.js, React, and Git.
iFood is committed to providing education to 10 million Brazilians by 2025, and to make this impact happen more quickly, it has sought partners with the same purpose of accelerating opportunities for those in most need.

Institute calls for 100% free and online courses in IT and computing with over 35 options, free certificate, and workloads of up to 200 hours after research reveals that 98% of companies face difficulty hiring qualified professionals.

Senac and Senai offer courses with scholarships of up to R$ 1,500 in areas such as sales, cashier operator, electrical, welding, CNC lathe, construction, telemarketing, and reception.

100% Free Online Mechanics Course with a R$ 1,400 Scholarship at the Federal Institute: In partnership with XCMG, IF calls for those interested in a technical course that includes a signed employment contract under an apprenticeship regime.

Petrobras will pay for you to take a course: in partnership with Senai, there are 2,000 free spots with assistance of up to R$ 858 per month and a certificate recognized by the MEC in industrial areas with high demand in Brazil until 2026.

Prerequisites to Compete for One of the 120 Scholarships in Free Programming Courses
Requirements: Family income per capita equal to or less than 1.5 minimum wage.
Additional Criteria for Class Distribution:
- Minimum 50% women;
- Minimum 50% Black people;
- Minimum 30% iFood partners (delivery personnel, restaurant owners, or employees);
- Minimum 15% residents of Salvador/Bahia.
In addition, we will also prioritize these criteria:
- Being a transgender person;
- Being PCD (person with disabilities);
- Being enrolled in or having completed high school at a public school.
