The Eternit Project Will Be Held in Caucaia, Ceará, with an Expected Readiness Soon in the First Half of 2023. Various Job Vacancies Will Be Generated
Eternit, a construction company, will invest around R$ 165 million to add a fifth production line of roofing tiles in Ceará, this time in the city of Caucaia. The new factory is expected to start operations in the first half of 2023, with the forecast of generating more than 132 job vacancies.

Eternit has been in the construction roofing market for 80 years and currently employs 1,500 professionals directly and has a network of 15,000 resellers in all Brazilian states. The company is present in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Bahia, Amazonas, and Goiás.
Construction, Innovation, and Sustainability
The company invests in innovation and sustainability, in the development project of photovoltaic tiles with solar energy capture cells applied directly to the concrete tile (Tégula Solar) and fiber cement (Eternit Solar).

The second phase of the project, he said, will allow for the implementation of a second machine, which will be studied according to market demand, making the production capacity reach up to 14,000 tons per month.
