Professional Qualification Opportunities Are Available for Those Looking to Enter or Return to the Job Market. Focusing on Technology, the Online Courses Are Free, Online, and Aimed at Young People and Adults in São Paulo.
The São Paulo Department of Economic Development opened registrations for 2,200 spots in free online technology courses. The initiative is part of the Qualifica SP program and is aimed at those who want to start or resume their careers.
Available Courses and Schedule
The classes are live and occur in three shifts: morning (8:30 AM to 11:50 AM), afternoon (1:30 PM to 4:50 PM), and evening (7:00 PM to 10:20 PM). Each course offers 11 classes, totaling 440 spots per subject. The courses are:
- System Architecture
- Database
- IT Project Management
- Mobile Programming
- Web Programming
The areas were chosen based on the current demands of the job market in the state of São Paulo. The goal is to provide training in areas that truly have job openings.

Who Can Participate
The spots are divided into two audiences. “My First Job” is for young people aged 16 to 24 who are seeking their first experience. Meanwhile, “New Job” caters to individuals aged 25 to 59 who want to change careers or find a new job.
To register, you must be literate, live in São Paulo, and be of appropriate age for the chosen modality.
If there are more applicants than spots available, priority will be given to unemployed individuals, those with disabilities, low-income individuals, or minors.
How to Register
Interested individuals should register on the site www.qualificasp.sp.gov.br by July 20. Selected participants will receive notification via email.
The classes are expected to start on July 28 and have a workload of 120 hours. To obtain the certificate, it is necessary to have at least 75% attendance.
With remote, free classes aimed at high-demand areas, the courses present a concrete opportunity to change lives. But attention: the deadline ends in a few days.
