What Free Technical Courses Will Be Available at IFPR?
The Federal Institute-IFPR will offer five options for free technical courses, each designed to meet the demands of the job market:

Senai launches an unprecedented program with Petrobras and opens 2,000 spots in free courses with recognized certification, a monthly allowance of R$ 600, and training for industrial professions that continue hiring across the country.

Petrobras and SENAI open 480 spots in free technical courses with a scholarship of up to R$ 858, meal allowance, and training in Mechanics, Welding, Metallurgy, and Industrial Automation to meet the growing demand of the industry and the oil and gas sector.
- Technical Course in Logistics: 12 months, 800 hours.
- Technical Course in Public Services: 12 months, 800 hours.
- Technical Course in Sales: 12 months, 800 hours.
- Technical Course in Environmental Management: 18 months, 1,200 hours.
- Technical Course in Occupational Safety: 18 months, 1,200 hours.
The courses will have 80% of the workload online, with 20% in-person, held in the evening at partner centers. Synchronous virtual meetings will complement the experience, providing a dynamic and accessible education.
Who Can Participate in the Selection Process?
Candidates who have completed high school by the enrollment date may apply. IFPR will reserve 60% of the vacancies for students from public schools, EJA, or certified by Encceja. Additionally, affirmative actions will ensure opportunities for Black, Brown, Indigenous, Quilombola individuals, and people with disabilities, promoting inclusion and diversity.
How Will the IFPR Selection Process Work?
The selection will be conducted through an electronic public drawing, which will be broadcast live on IFPR’s official website. The method will ensure transparency and equal opportunities. Candidates registered in the Affirmative Action System will have their spots reserved according to the categories specified in the public notice, ensuring fairness and equity in the process.
