Electric Scooter Rental: 99 and Vammo Partner to Offer Electric Scooter with Various Benefits, Reserve Vehicle, and Battery Swap in Under 1 Minute.
The rental work for deliveries has gained a new and interesting alternative in the national market, resulting from a partnership between the startup Vammo and the mobility company 99. The companies launched a new CPX Comfort electric scooter, a vehicle developed specially to meet the delivery services for urban applications focused on performance, convenience of use, and autonomy. In this article, we will understand how the scooter rental from Vammo and 99 will work.
New Electric Model Delivers Superior Performance Compared to the Old Version
The new battery scooter is available for rental and arrives to expand access to electric vehicles in urban transport for goods and passengers. The electric scooter rental project emerged after intense testing conducted last year.
More than 20 units of the model were used by various driver profiles, who contributed practical data for better configuration. The CPX Comfort is an advancement over the previous model, called simply CPX, which had already been used primarily for deliveries.

The model brings significant improvements when it comes to torque and power, with performances 23% superior to the previous version.
The electric scooter is equipped with two removable batteries, allowing for a range of up to 100 km. The model is exclusively focused on professional use, and its proposal is to mitigate operational costs for those working with ride-hailing services.
Unlike conventional electric motorcycles, which require being plugged into an outlet, the CPX Comfort uses a technology called Battery Swap. The rider goes to one of the more than 400 Vammo stations located in São Paulo and the surrounding area to swap the discharged battery for a charged one. The swapping process takes about 1 minute and is included in the weekly rental fee.
Find Out How Much Electric Scooter Rental Costs
On the Vammo company’s website, it is possible to see where the swapping stations are located. There are currently no available stations outside São Paulo and the surrounding area.
Unlimited battery swaps are also included in the rental plans, further reducing operational costs for the user. Currently, the rental plans for the CPX Comfort electric scooter from 99 and Vammo for use in apps start at R$ 259 weekly, with a limit of 300 km. There is also an option with unlimited mileage, costing R$ 329 per week.
Both packages include services such as 24-hour assistance, vehicle tax (IPVA), maintenance, access to battery swapping stations, and even a reserve motorcycle. The CPX, CPX Comfort, or CPX Pro are models from the Chinese brand VMoto. The model is known as Super Soco CPX and, in addition to Vammo, is distributed by the motorcycle rental company Riba, which works with iFood.
Thus, it is not possible to find these electric scooters for sale; they can only be rented for work. However, due to these electric scooter rental partnerships, over the past year, the model became the best-selling electric scooter in the country, with 2,032 registrations. This data comes from Fenabrave.
99 Comments on New Partnership
In the European market, where the brand is also well-known, consumer purchases are possible. The price of the CPX Pro in Portugal is 6,090 euros, which would convert to approximately R$ 38,700. This does not take into account any type of tax.
The scooter, according to company data, provides a range of 100 km, a disc brake system with CBS, a top speed of 95 km/h, LED headlights, reverse gear, USB input, and a digital panel.
According to Thiago Hipolito, director of innovation at 99, the company continues to be a pioneer in the transition to electric mobility in the country, and the entry of Vammo into the partnership facilitated the technological solutions needed to meet the aggressive mobility transition goals.
Hipolito emphasizes that currently, the company has more than 3,000 active electric motorcycles on the platform. By 2025, the company’s goal is to expand to 10,000 registered electric motorcycles and exceed 130,000 passenger and delivery trips.
