Braskem, a company operating globally in the petrochemical sector, announced that it is now accepting applications for its internship program in 2023. Interested parties can submit their applications until September 12 through the company’s official website.
This year, the Braskem internship program aims to allocate fifty percent of all positions to female candidates, forty-five percent to Black individuals, and five percent to people with disabilities (PWD). For the technical internship, the goal is to hire fifty percent women and forty-five percent Black interns.
Who Can Participate in the Braskem Internship Program?
To participate in the program, individuals must be currently enrolled in a college or university and have completed at least the third semester of courses in exact or human sciences. Individuals over 18 years old who are taking at least the second semester of a Technical Education course in the following areas are also eligible to participate:

Become a Penal Officer: positions available for high school and higher education levels with salaries up to R$ 9.7 thousand, stability, benefits, and 213 opportunities in a competition with exams in August and a reserve list for various areas in Rio Grande do Sul.

Work at the Federal Institute: IF calls for individuals with high school, technical, and higher education levels with salaries that can exceed R$ 8,000 in positions such as Administrative Assistant, Psychologist, and IT Analyst in a competition with around 600 vacancies and online registration.

Interested applicants need to be willing and available to intern for 30 or 40 hours a week.
The Braskem internship program will last up to two years and will officially start in January 2023. Its main objectives are to promote the growth of new talents and provide increasingly greater educational motivations for participants through hands-on work.
Hired individuals will be eligible for a range of benefits, in addition to receiving a scholarship compatible with their market position. These benefits include transportation vouchers, parking, onsite dining, medical insurance, life insurance, and English scholarship for those who already have a basic level of the language.
