Ocyan acquired 100 adapted masks with a transparent space on the front near the mouth for members who work with hearing-impaired people in the company, enabling lip reading. The masks were made in partnership with the Maravilha Cooperative, composed of seamstresses from Morro da Providência. They became partners with Ocyan during this pandemic and together promoted an online sewing course for various communities in Rio de Janeiro and the port area. The company also purchased 10,000 masks from them to distribute among its employees who work on land and on oil platforms.
