Powered By The New Sustainable Car Program, Volkswagen Was One Of The First To Reduce The Prices Of Its Models, With The Saveiro Having A Discount Of More Than R$ 20 Thousand.
Volkswagen announced on Thursday, July 10, 2025, a new price list for several of its models, including popular cars like the Polo and the Saveiro pickup. The measure is a direct response to the approval of the Sustainable Car program by the Federal Government, which eliminated or reduced the Industrial Products Tax (IPI) for more efficient vehicles.
According to an article published by the portal g1, the discounts are significant, and in the case of the Saveiro, exceed the mark of R$ 20 thousand. The German automaker also announced special conditions to attract consumers, in a move that is expected to boost the automotive market.
