The new Honda CR-V e:FCEV 2025 marks the debut of the first SUV in North America with a hydrogen fuel cell. Expected to arrive at the end of this year, initially only for rental, the model promises to revolutionize the segment with its advanced technology, according to the website Garagem 360.

The SUV CR-V 2025 e:FCEV will come equipped with cutting-edge features, including the Honda Link system with expanded resources and a power source with a 110 V outlet capable of providing up to 1,500 watts of power. Among the main standard equipment of the new CR-V, in addition to the hydrogen refueling, are the Honda Sensing system, 10.2’’ instrument panel, 9’’ HD touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless phone charging, among others. The engine, located at the front of the vehicle, produces 174 hp and 31.6 kgfm of torque.
With a 17.7 kWh battery, the CR-V 2025 has a range of 46 km. With hydrogen refueling, the range increases to an impressive 434 km, according to the EPA of the United States, making it an attractive option for long trips.

Unfortunately for Brazilians, the arrival of the hydrogen-powered CR-V 2025 is not yet in Honda’s plans for Brazil. The brand has already launched in the country the new generation of the CR-V with conventional hybrid engine, available starting at R$ 352,900, meeting the demand for more sustainable vehicles.
