Participants Can Register Until August 30 in Seven Categories
The Brazilian Association of Steel Packaging (Abeaço) announces the opening of registrations for the 6th Steel Packaging Awards. The award, which takes place every two years and was postponed due to the pandemic, aims to value steel packaging for food, paints and varnishes, and promotional products, as well as all the effort made by companies in their creations. Registrations can be made until August 30.
Candidates can compete in seven categories: Innovation, Practicality, Design, Lithography, Differentiated Application, Caps for Various Packages, and Sustainability in the Product Life Cycle. Additionally, journalists can submit reports published about steel cans to compete for Highlight Journalist.
To register, candidates must request the registration form via email celita@abeaco.org.br by August 5. After receiving the form, it must be filled out and sent back via email, scanned, or by mail addressed to the Abeaço headquarters – located at Rua Afonso de Freitas, 559, Conj. 81, Paraíso – São Paulo, SP, ZIP 04006-052, to the attention of Celita Amaral. The form must be completed by August 30, and the sample of the registered package or the reports must also be sent to the Abeaço headquarters by the same date. Registrations are free.

The packages and reports must have been launched and published between September 1, 2020, and August 30, 2022. A committee composed of design agencies, universities, research institutes, sectoral entities, and companies related to reverse logistics will select the winners. For the Highlight Journalist award, the judging committee will receive support from Abeaço’s press office, Press à Porter Image Management.
