The job market in Santa Catarina remains strong. The National Employment System (SINE/SC) announced 9,128 job openings available across the state this week, including 390 exclusive opportunities for people with disabilities (PCD).
The chances are distributed among different sectors and education levels, reinforcing SINE’s role as the main link between workers and companies in Santa Catarina.
According to the Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and Services (Sicos), job openings in Santa Catarina are concentrated in regions with strong economic activity, especially in the areas of commerce, services, construction, hospitality, and industry.

Following closely, the Itajaí Valley presents 1,449 job openings available, distributed among municipalities such as Itajaí, Blumenau, Brusque, and Balneário Camboriú. The region, recognized for its industrial and commercial dynamism, offers opportunities ranging from textiles to logistics and public service.
Itajaí, for example, concentrates over 400 positions, with 81 aimed at people with disabilities, reinforcing the regional commitment to inclusion and income generation.
West and South Also Offer Thousands of Job Openings
The western part of Santa Catarina maintains a steady pace, with 1,376 job openings in cities such as Chapecó, São Miguel do Oeste, and Seara. The strength of agribusiness and the food industry drive the sector, which remains one of the largest employers in the region.
Meanwhile, the South of the state totals 1,449 opportunities, with highlights for Criciúma, Araranguá, and Tubarão. Hiring is concentrated in industries, commerce, and construction, and includes positions for PCDs in various cities.
North and Midwest Expand Hiring in Various Sectors
In the North of Santa Catarina, there are 1,278 job openings available, mainly in Joinville and Mafra, strategic industrial and logistics hubs for the state. Opportunities range from technical positions to administrative roles.
The Midwest has 665 positions, distributed in cities such as Caçador, Campos Novos, Capinzal, and Videira. The agribusiness sector dominates hiring, strengthening the local economy and ensuring job stability.
Serra Catarinense Also Has New Opportunities
The Serra Catarinense is not left out: there are 266 available positions, concentrated in Lages and São Joaquim. The region has been seeking to attract new investments and strengthen rural tourism, which explains the gradual increase in the job openings provided by SINE.
