Aeris Energy and Siemens Gamesa in Agreement for a New Brazilian Wind Power Contract

In a statement to the CVM, the company informed that the term of the wind energy contract would last until 2024, with a total estimated value of up to R$ 2.5 billion alongside Siemens Gamesa. Brazilian Renewable Energy Projects
Aeris Energy already has a backlog of over 10,000 wind blades to be delivered over the next 3 years. This is equivalent to everything the company has produced since its founding in 2010. Furthermore, a revenue of R$ 2.2 billion is estimated for this year, amounting to R$ 280 million in EBITDA.
The wind energy company also emphasizes that “the potential celebration of the contract with Siemens Gamesa aligns with its business expansion strategy and diversification of its client portfolio, consolidating the Company’s presence in the international market,” it concluded.
The manufacturer also reported that it will issue debentures worth R$ 600 million. In a market statement, the papers have a unit value of R$ 1,000. The measure was approved after the approval of the company’s board of directors.
