Northeast Has Only Two States Where Gasoline Prices Are Still Below R$ 6

The price of gasoline is high across the country, reaching historical values and increasingly affecting the wallets of the Brazilian population. For example, last year, R$ 100 bought 24 liters of fuel, whereas in August 2021, the same amount of money buys only 17 liters of fuel

According to the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP), the average price of gasoline rose for the 8th consecutive week in Brazil, reaching an average price of R$ 6 nationwide. The previous week, the average price of gasoline was R$ 6.076, and this week it increased to R$ 6.092.

According to research released by the ANP, National Agency of Petroleum, of the 9 states, Paraíba has the lowest price per liter. At the same time, Piauí has the highest price per liter in the Northeast.
