Ambev, along with the “Zé Delivery” app owned by the multinational, created a movement to provide financial aid to street vendors, one of the categories most affected by the cancellation of Carnival festivities. The “Help a Street Vendor” initiative aims to support approximately 20 thousand workers in this sector.
To receive the benefit, vendors must register and to prevent fraud, they must prove that they have performed the activity in past Carnivals.

With unprecedented technology brought from China, Bahia will build a 12.4 km bridge over the Baía de Todos-os-Santos, which will be the largest over the sea in Latin America, connecting Salvador to Itaparica and shortening trips by up to 250 km after decades of waiting.
Upon completing the registration, the street vendor will immediately receive a financial aid of R$ 150 in a digital account and a unique code to share with friends and customers so they can order their beers at home during Carnival.
The code must be used when purchasing products through the app, between February 11 and 21. Each time a customer uses the code, the vendor will automatically receive an additional R$ 5. This process can be repeated up to 20 times.
Additionally, if the registrant participates in a course on responsible consumption, they will receive an additional R$ 5. If the consumer does not receive the code directly from a street vendor and wishes to participate in the campaign, they can obtain the coupon on the website starting this Thursday (11).
The names of participants and the coupons will be available for consultation on the Help a Street Vendor site between the 11th and the 21st of this month.
Ambev Donates Thermo Boxes for Vaccines
Ambev also announced the donation of 5 thousand thermo boxes, traditionally used by street vendors during festivities, which will go to health posts to store and transport Covid-19 vaccines.
The boxes for medical use are made of polyurethane and have a thermometer for temperature control. Their transportation will be prioritized for states with lower income and higher population.
